Accounts

There are four major computer account types used at Fullerton college:

FCNet accounts provide access to the campus network resources including computer logon, network file storage, printing, email, the myFC portal, and FCWireless.

Staff account applications are available from your Division, or on the Staff Accounts page. User names generally follow the first initial last name convention. Initial passwords will be sent to staff through the campus mail room.
Student accounts are automatically generated for registered students at the beginning of each semester. User names for students are the eight digit student ID number. Passwords are initially set to their six digit birth date (mmddyy)* .
NOTE: Students will need to log into a campus computer or the campus portal before they can access other FCNet services. See Logging into CE6 for more information on changing your password via the campus portal.

Banner accounts are required to access our District Enterprise Information System (EIS) . Additional information concerning Banner can be found at http://www.nocccd.edu/Departments/InfoServicesBannerInfo.htm

WebStar accounts allow students and staff access to EIS to register for classes, print out class rosters, enter and access grades, review course transcripts, etc. User names for WebStar are the employee or student ID number with a leading @ sign (@xxxxxxxx) . Passwords/pins are initially set to the six digit birth date (mmddyy) . WebStar login can be found at https://www.banner.nocccd.cc.ca.us/prod/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin

CE6 (formerly known as WebCT) accounts are the same username and password as your FCNet account.
NOTE: You must change your initial six digit birth date password before you will be able to log into CE6. See Logging into CE6 for more information on changing your FCNET password to access your online courses and CE6 single signon information. WebCT 4.0 - accounts on the older course management system (online course system) uses your first two letters of your first name, the first two letters of your last name, and the last 4 digits of your student id as your username. The password is initially set to student. If you have issues logging into WebCT 4.0, please contact your instructor.
